Classes I to V are when children build the skills that every later subject depends on: reading with understanding, writing clearly, and handling numbers with confidence. At Prastuti Junior in Chalchali, Nagaon, primary teaching is patient, structured and practical.
Strong basics, taught step by step
Teachers introduce each idea clearly, show how it works, and then give children plenty of practice until it feels easy. Reading happens every day, from phonics and short stories to longer texts, and children are encouraged to talk about what they read. Writing moves from neat sentences to short paragraphs and simple projects.
In mathematics, children work with real objects, patterns and puzzles before moving to written methods, so that they understand why a method works and not only how to follow it.
An international and STEM curriculum
Our curriculum gives science and technology a practical place from the early classes. Children observe, measure, test simple ideas and build things, which keeps curiosity alive and links classroom learning to everyday life.
Saturday art and abacus
Prastuti Junior offers free art and creativity classes and abacus activities on Saturdays. Abacus and mental maths help children calculate quickly and concentrate, while art gives them a space to plan, create and express themselves.
Partnership with parents
Primary children do best when home and school work together. Teachers share regular updates on progress, help families set up good homework routines, and raise any concerns early. A developmental-behavioural pediatrician is available through the academic session, and counselling is offered for children and parents who need it.
Moving up
After Class V, children continue to Middle School at Prastuti Junior, and later to Classes IX and X and, for science students, Class XI at Prastuti Integrated Academy, all on the same campus.

Which classes does Prastuti offer?
Prastuti Junior offers Nursery, LKG, UKG and Classes I to X. Prastuti Integrated Academy offers Classes XI and XII Science under the AHSEC board, with integrated NEET or JEE preparation. Med Launch is our separate NEET dropper batch.
